This is important for two reasons: As a small municipality, the Town is one of a handful in Ontario that has committed to a Sustainability Master plan, in the first place. The second and equally important reason is that “Climate change is the greatest long-term global challenge that human society faces.”
Yet, by making and taking these steps now, we can ‘mitigate, adapt, and create operational sustainability, in both the Town and the Community.
