All of our new board members have an interest in ensuring the protection of natural spaces, protecting Lake Simcoe, and creating a sustainable Innisfil. We look forward to working with our new team.

Deborah McGrath who has been the most recent President of the IDA is stepping down from her role as President, and from the board. Over the years, Deborah has done an outstanding job contributing her talents and skills. She has always put in the extra time and gone beyond the call of duty to make sure our goals were met. She helped to bring in new board members with a broad range of skills. Her excellent speech writing and speaking skills were always evident during deputations at council and as the face of the IDA. Her deep connections to the Innisfil community gave us a “seat at the table” when addressing issues in the town. Deborah always led the IDA with kindness, grace and a helping hand.

We wish Deborah great success in all future pursuits. You will be missed by the board.
